Solve a Mystery

What is a Murder Mystery Ball without a mystery to solve? So bring your magnifying glasses, your microscopes and your marvelous intuition as you set to solve a mystery of your own. Each of the tables will have an Evidence Pack set out for them to solve during the evening.

Will you crack the case and catch the crook or will they slip away into the night?

We’ll be using a selection of the Cases & Clues mystery packs designed for 1-12 people, with one for each table of 10. We will only be using their “Screen Free” cases and provide some pens and paper to make notes on, so everything you need will be included.

Kill the Competition - Assassins

Throughout the night, we will be hosting a game of Assassins to help us find the sneakiest SSAGOer. Here’s how this’ll work:

  1. Opt in to the game when you make your booking.
  2. Collect your clothes peg upon your arrival, with the name and club of your target listed on its side.
  3. Once the clock strikes 18:30, the game begins!
  4. Seek out your target. Make sure to use the seating plan or ask around if you need a hand learning someone's face!
  5. Sneak your peg onto your target without them spotting you. If they notice you or you peg the wrong person, take it back and give it another go when they’re least expecting. If they don’t notice, let them know they’re out, reclaim your peg and seize theirs, giving you your next target.
  6. Whoever has managed to successfully peg the most people by the end of the night is crowned victorious!
To make sure we don’t disturb the evening's proceedings, we’ll be implementing rules as follows...

Rules:

The game is only to be played from 18:30 until 23:00.

Gameplay will pause whilst food is being served.

Gameplay will pause whilst speeches and awards are taking place.
