Put Novotel Birmingham Centre into your navigation app of choice to help you walk there.
Our venue is a short 16 minute walk from Birmingham New Street, which has great links to most of the UK. It is slightly closer to Five Ways (a 14 minute walk) but realistically you’ll only go there if you’re travelling from Selly Oak or the University of Birmingham.
If the trains aren't your style, Birmingham is also served by all major coach services including National Express, Flixbus and Megabus, with stops for all three just a short walk from the city center.
You can easily access Birmingham by taking the M6, junction 6 and then the A38 if you are travelling from the North, or the M42, junction 3 and then the A435 from the South. Birmingham has great road connections, so there are lots of other ways to get here too.
There are 50 parking spaces available at the venue, which costs £18 per day. The carpark has a max height of 1.8m, so will only be suitable for cars. If the carpark is full, there are plenty of alternative long stay car parks throughout Birmingham city centre.
You may also want to consider using the park and ride as it may be a more affordable option, or parking at your accommodation and taking the bus or an Uber.
The only place near to the venue to park a minibus/coach is Brewery street car park. It is £26.40 for up to 24 hours, and you need to book in advance by emailing parking@birmingham.gov.uk. The address is
Brewery St
Birmingham

It is then a 36 minute walk to the venue, or you can get the bus from Snow Hill Queensway (SQ5) to Sheepcote Street. There are a variety of different buses that do that route frequently, but the Snow Hill Queensway bus stop is a 16 minute walk from the carpark. The Lower Tower Street bus stop is closer, but this requires you to get 2 buses. Alternatively, you can get an uber for around £8.
If you’re travelling to ball in style, you can fly into Birmingham International Airport and then hop on a short train to Birmingham New Street.
Fancy a more exciting method of transport? We can recommend the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo! It is equipped with everything you need to solve a mystery, so may come in handy later on in the evening. The Mystery Machine is estimated to be 1.84m tall, so unfortunately you won’t be able to park it at the venue.
